A relaxed holiday feeling in the heart of the Eifel

Once you have unpacked and settled onto the terrace, you quickly discover what makes this holiday special. The standard holiday bungalow at Ferienpark Hambachtal offers comfortable space for four people across two floors, with a total area of approximately 70 m2. On the ground floor you will find a living room with an open kitchen, a welcoming space to share meals, unwind and spend your evenings together. The kitchen is well equipped for four people and includes a fridge with freezer, microwave, kettle and a filter coffee maker, ideal for a slow morning start before heading out into nature.

Upstairs, two bedrooms provide a good night's rest for the whole group. One bedroom has a double bed, while the other features a bunk bed, making this bungalow a practical choice for families with children. There are two toilets in total: a separate one on the ground floor and a shower and toilet combination on the first floor. Outside, the bungalow has its own terrace with garden furniture, a pleasant spot to enjoy the fresh air. At some bungalows the terrace is accessed via a spiral staircase. Parking is available close to the bungalow. Please note that Ferienpark Hambachtal is situated in a hilly landscape with significant elevation differences, meaning that some bungalows and park facilities are accessible via steps. If you have specific requirements, such as a bungalow without a spiral staircase or one with a bath, please mention this when making your booking.

Ferienpark Hambachtal: your base in the German countryside

Ferienpark Hambachtal has plenty to offer beyond your own front door. The park features a bowling alley, a minigolf course and a covered indoor play area that keeps younger guests happily occupied. The game room adds another option for rainy afternoons, while the restaurant with outdoor terrace is a relaxed spot for dinner without the effort of cooking. For those who want to stay active, Activity Planet offers additional recreation options on and around the park. Please note that the swimming pool at Ferienpark Hambachtal is currently closed and is not expected to reopen in the near future. The sauna is no longer available. Ferienpark Hambachtal is located in the Eifel, a gently rolling upland region in western Germany close to the Belgian border. Forested hills, quiet valleys and volcanic landscapes set the scene for hiking and cycling routes that have drawn visitors for generations. The Eifel National Park is right on your doorstep, offering vast woodlands and peaceful trails waiting to be explored. When you feel like a change of scenery, the surrounding region has much to offer. Trier, situated on the Moselle, is one of Germany's oldest cities and captivates visitors with its Roman heritage, charming streets, shops and café terraces. The ancient Porta Nigra is a sight that stays with you. Idar-Oberstein offers something entirely different: a town shaped by its gemstone and jewellery tradition, with fascinating rock formations and a remarkable church built directly into the cliff face. Saarburg charms with its historic lanes and a striking waterfall that runs right through the centre of town. The Bostalsee, a lovely recreational lake in the region, makes for a wonderful day out in the open air.
