Your home base in the Eifel, made for a group of six

This semi-detached holiday home of approximately 82 m² gives a group of six everything they need for a relaxed and comfortable stay. The living room is where everyone comes together at the end of the day: cosy and simply furnished, with a flatscreen TV to wind down in the evening. The open-plan kitchen flows naturally from the living space and is fully equipped for six people. You have a four-burner hob, a fridge with freezer compartment, a microwave, a kettle and a filter coffee machine. Everything you need for a proper meal or a lazy morning coffee is right at hand.

The holiday home has three bedrooms. On the ground floor there is a bedroom designed with children in mind, fitted with a bunk bed, though some homes have two single beds instead. On the upper floor you will find two more bedrooms, each with two single beds. There are two toilets in total: a separate one on the ground floor and a shower and toilet combination on the upper floor. Some homes also include a bath. Outside, a private terrace with garden furniture invites you to enjoy breakfast in the fresh air or relax with a drink as the evening sets in. Parking is available close to the property. Please note that the park is set in a hilly landscape with elevation differences, meaning stairs are part of daily life here. Keep this in mind when booking.

Ferienpark Hambachtal: unwinding in the German countryside

Ferienpark Hambachtal is a lively holiday park in the heart of the Eifel, where there is always something to do for every member of the group. Children will enjoy the indoor play paradise and the games arcade, while adults can sit back on the restaurant terrace with a drink or a meal. A round of minigolf or an evening at the bowling alley rounds off a day in nature perfectly. Activity Planet organises activities and excursions for guests looking for a bit more structure. Please note that the swimming pool at Ferienpark Hambachtal is currently closed and is not expected to reopen in the near future. The sauna is no longer available. There are, however, plenty of other activities and recreational options available on and around the park.

Ferienpark Hambachtal is a great starting point for anyone who loves being outdoors. The Eifel is a gently rolling upland region with dense forests, quiet valleys and volcanic landscapes. Walkers and cyclists will find an extensive network of routes here, ranging from easy forest walks to longer trails through the Eifel National Park. The surroundings are green, varied and refreshingly peaceful.

For those who enjoy a day out, the region offers plenty of destinations worth visiting. Trier, one of Germany's oldest cities, sits along the Moselle and draws visitors with its remarkable Roman heritage, including the iconic Porta Nigra, its vibrant city centre and welcoming terraces. Saarburg is a charming town with narrow historic streets and a waterfall that tumbles right through the town centre. Idar-Oberstein is famous for its centuries-old tradition of gemstones and jewellery, with museums, workshops and a striking church built directly into the cliff face. The Bostalsee, a nearby recreational lake, is a pleasant place to walk, relax and take in the surroundings. Culture, nature and tranquillity sit side by side in this corner of Germany, making it a destination that keeps rewarding you.
